Speech Sprouts is certified to deliver the Hanen Program It Takes Two to Talk (ITTT) developed by the Hanen Centre. ITTT is a small-group training program for parents of children with language delays (often referred to as ‘late talkers’).
ITTT helps parents learn about:
- their own communication style – awareness of the positive and negative impacts on language development,
- their child’s communication style – to help deliver language learning opportunities at the appropriate level, and
- language stimulation strategies – to help emphasise language learning in everyday routines.
